Social Responsibility
Please take some time to read this document on social responsibility Download social responsibility and the risks of excessive alcohol consumption. There will be questions on these topics in the exam. When consumed in moderation, alcohol is not regarded as being harmful to your health. However, alcohol can significantly affect the behaviour of anyone who consumes too much (often in very socially unacceptable and dangerous ways). For some people, it can be highly addictive and, when consumed to excess, it can have a negative impact on both short- and long-term health. Official guidelines are issued by many governments and public health bodies to recommend levels of alcohol consumption that are considered to be ‘low risk’. These vary from country to country and can be found on local governmental or public health websites.
