Welcome to the WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits, a nine-week course designed to give you a comprehensive overview of the world of spirits. The popularity of and interest in spirits is at an all-time high. Over the past few years, it has become clear that there is a hunger within the spirits industry for a high-level, widely available spirits qualification. This course has been created to meet this need. It has been compiled by dedicated and passionate WSET staff and industry professionals who have travelled far and wide to gather knowledge for this course. As a result, it details production techniques in the industry and seeks to show how these production techniques are used differently for each different spirit category, explaining why these spirits have the style and quality that they do.
